Pricing starts at $3099/person double-occupancy for four nights including direct flights from Newark, resort transfers and all-inclusive accommodations! Land-only package available for $2499/person double occupancy if you want to use points for your flights or if you're traveling from a gateway other than EWR.

Is this a group trip? Do we have to do things with the group?

The Girlfriend's Getaway was created in 2020 to provide an easy solution to get away with your friends. Although most of the Girlfriends Getaway guests travel to the resort together on our flight from Newark, there is no obligation or expectation to participate in meals or activities with others. However, we organize some completely optional meet-ups at the resort (happy hour, anyone?) if you do want to connect with other women in the group.

Who is VBH Travel?

VBH Travel is a Northeast US-based travel agency founded in 2014 by Heather Cross in her Brooklyn bedroom/office. Over the past ten years the agency has grown to a team of six. Our team works to ensure every guest on the Girlfriends Getaway has a relaxing and enjoyable time. Learn more about us.

Why Hotel Xcaret Arte?

Heather was spoiled during a stay here in 2022 and has been excited to share this amazing property with our guests ever since -- amazing authentic food, stunning rooms and fabulous inclusions at this property make it truly an amazing place to recharge and reconnect.

Another aspect that makes Hotel Xcaret Arte special is the additional inclusions: there are amazing art workshops where you can create textile and pottery projects, dance lessons, excursions to experience ruins, cenotes, and access to the the Xcaret family of parks (Xcaret, Xel-Há, Xplor, Xplor Fuego, Xavage, Xenses, Xoximilco and Xenotes) is included in their all-fun inclusive rates.

If resting pool-side is more your vibe, you'll love when the staff comes by to offer you a mini-facial featuring cucumber slices for your eyes, an amazing cocktail or snacks. Did I mention the salsas? The buffet at this hotel is unmatched and the room service is wonderful as well (don't worry, there are lots of sit-down restaurants too!) Heck, there's even a cantina where you can have quacamole with or without crickets on it.

This adults-only resort will make you feel spoiled whether you want to do everything or absolutely nothing. Our allotment of double-occupancy rooms have two queen beds for friends sharing a room and they each have a sleep sofa as well if you need to accommodate three people in a room (and we have a few king-bedded rooms for guests wanting to stay solo!)
